Harvest Light Fall Workshop
September 20, 2025 · 10am–3pm · The Verdancy Project (Portland Metro Area)
Harvest Light is an in-person immersive art-making workshop led by Abby Houston: Artist, Registered Art Therapist, and Licensed Professional Counselor.
Together, we will welcome the shift of seasons and explore the interplay of light and shadow as autumn edges toward winter. Using raw watercolor paper, participants will fold, paint, and layer to create a unique foldable painting—a tactile artwork that unfolds to reflect the contrasts and richness of the harvest season.
This daylong workshop blends observation, centering, creativity, and collaboration, offering both grounding in nature and freedom of abstract artistic expression.
